Camping and tides in Chile

Chiloé has a 2 m tide on its Pacific coast and twice that on the inner sea, with strong currents in the Chacao Channel. On the outer coast the tide pages are modelled from satellite data (EOT20); for the inner sea there is one gauge, Puerto Montt, predicted from its own readings (UHSLC). Neither is official SHOA predictions, and the model is not reliable inside the inner sea. Expect rain, cold water and big Pacific swell. All Chile regions.
